- Requirements: Required if traveling from a country with risk of YFV transmission and ≥9 months of age, including transit >12 hours in an airport located in a country with risk of YFV transmission. This includes Eritrea, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania, and Zambia. 1 In the absence of a vaccination certificate, the person will be detained in quarantine for up to 6 days after departure from an area at risk of yellow fever transmission.
